Transparency, traceability and human review are core principles of RegenNews coverage.
1. Editorial mission
RegenNews is an editorial publication dedicated to regenerative medicine, advanced therapies, orthobiologics, translational science, medical devices, clinical research, regulation, events and the related professional ecosystem. Our goal is to select, contextualize and explain relevant information with rigor, clarity, traceability and practical value for healthcare professionals, researchers and qualified readers.
2. Editorial independence
Editorial decisions are guided by relevance, quality of evidence, scientific interest, potential impact on practice and usefulness to readers. Commercial relationships, sponsors, advertisers or partners do not determine scientific conclusions, wording, evidence selection or editorial positioning.
3. Curation and synthesis
RegenNews does not seek to reproduce third-party materials in full. Coverage may originate from scientific papers, regulatory documents, official communications, study registries, conferences, databases and other reliable sources. Published content is RegenNews’ own editorial synthesis, with context, critical interpretation and clear source attribution.
4. Original source and traceability
Whenever possible, each article includes a direct link to the original source that prompted the coverage. For scientific papers, RegenNews records the DOI and/or PMID when available. For regulatory documents, we prioritize the issuing authority’s official URL, document identifier when available, and access date. Additional references may be included for context or verification.
5. External links and availability
External links are provided to improve traceability and access to source material. Those materials are owned and maintained by third parties. Pages, documents and URLs may be changed, moved, replaced or removed without notice to RegenNews. RegenNews does not guarantee the permanent availability of external sources and does not necessarily continuously monitor every link after publication. A source becoming unavailable does not, by itself, require automatic removal of RegenNews’ editorial synthesis.
6. Take-home message and proportionality of evidence
The “Take-home message” summarizes the central point of a piece in one or two sentences. It must remain proportional to the strength of the evidence and must not turn association into causation, regulatory discussion into approval, statistical significance into automatic clinical relevance, or preliminary findings into definitive recommendations.
7. Editorial review, fact-checking and specialist review
All content intended for publication undergoes editorial and factual verification appropriate to its nature. Research Briefings and clinically complex content require scientific review by a qualified professional in the relevant field. Material regulatory coverage should be reviewed by a professional with appropriate regulatory expertise. RegenNews’ internal Quality Gate records outstanding requirements and supports the process, but does not replace human judgment.
8. Corrections and updates
RegenNews corrects material factual errors transparently. When an article is materially changed after publication, the update date should be displayed and, where appropriate, a brief note should explain what was corrected or updated. Purely typographical or formatting changes may be made without a formal correction note.
9. Conflicts of interest and disclosures
When authors, reviewers, institutions, partners or people associated with RegenNews have a relevant financial, academic, professional or institutional relationship with the subject of a story, that relationship is evaluated editorially and disclosed to readers when appropriate. A relationship does not necessarily preclude coverage, but transparency is required.
10. Sponsored content and advertising
Advertising, sponsorship and commercial content are clearly distinguished from editorial content. Sponsored content is explicitly labeled and must not be presented in a way that could mislead readers about its nature. Sponsors do not control scientific conclusions or editorial evaluation.
11. Artificial intelligence
Artificial-intelligence tools may support research, organization, translation, language editing, preliminary synthesis or content preparation. The use of AI does not remove human editorial responsibility. Scientific and regulatory information intended for publication must be verified against original sources and pass the applicable review process.
12. Images, credits and rights
Images must have documented origin, license and credit. RegenNews prioritizes original illustrations, institutional materials with appropriate editorial permission, or licensed imagery. Scientific figures, screenshots, logos and third-party materials are not reused without assessing rights, context and editorial necessity.
13. Medical information, not individual medical advice
RegenNews content is informational, scientific, educational and editorial. It does not replace individual clinical assessment, professional judgment, institutional protocols, prescribing information, instructions for use, current regulatory requirements or consultation of applicable official documents.
14. Dates, versions and archiving
Each item records its publication date and, when applicable, its update date. For relevant external sources, the access date should be recorded. RegenNews may retain published articles as part of the editorial record even if an external original source later becomes unavailable, provided the article remains factual, appropriately contextualized and subject to our corrections policy.
15. Editorial contact
Requests for correction, clarification, factual challenge or conflict-of-interest disclosure may be submitted through RegenNews contact channels. The editorial team reviews each request according to its relevance and the available evidence.
